won't start
I need some advice from someone more experienced in these things corvette. As I am a zeropost?cmd, I assume that means new to this forum please excuse any foopas. I hope this is the right area to post this...
I have a 87 that will at random times refuse to atart for five minutes or so. (acts dead, fuel pump pressurizes but nothing else) Then it just starts.
I found a service bulletin about the ignition switch which needs to be replaced from 84 - 86 due to a VATS problem with the contacts for the resister pellet in the key. Question is: before I spend the money for a switch is there any other diag I could perform to be sure that's it and the VATS just isn't playing games with me?? Like a bad door switch or relay somewhere.
ANY help is appriciated, thanks.
