I'd like to hear opinion. One aluminum weld yoke on my half-shaft has too much tolerance (U-joint cup just drops trough). I estimate ID is about .003” more than cup OD.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I also talked to a shaft place, they can replace bad yoke just by cutting it off and re-welding a new one on, cost under $200, includes ballancing. However Permatex solution is faster and fiscally more appealing.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a new halfshaft other than have your old one fixed with welding and stuff? I know high performance ones ar just over $200-250, stock must be even cheaper.. used, prolly under $100 each..
