Bilstein fx3 shocks

I just received 4 shocks from bilstein as a present to myself. They told me that these were correct for a 1992 coupe not ZR1 with fx3. The part numbers are b46-2053 and b46- 2054. I am pretty sure they are not the correct ones, and that I need ba5-7027 and ba5-7028 for non zr1 and selective ride in a 92 coupe. The specs on the internet seem to list these as for the zr1, but I have just the fx3 without zr1, and I believe these should be for the selective ride control with or without zr1. Could someone please help as it seems even the rep at bilstein was no help.

The shocks are the same. Don't sweat it.

You mean the shocks for the zr1 and regular coupe are the same with the selective ride?

Yes, the difference is in the spring rate for the suspension.

Am I correct that they gave me the wrong ones from the numbers above, and do I now have the correct numbers? Thanks, because the new numbers are what I have ordered now.

I need ba5-7027 and ba5-7028

I show 7027 and 7028 being 92-95 front and rear FX3 and 2053 and 2054 being the heavy duty revalved shocks and non FX3

Shane,I am just going to return the other ones for a credit toward the correct ones. If you are talking about the ones I am taking off, you can have them. They have 89.000 miles and the gear is broken ( I assume the gear is part of the shock). I suppose you could have them revalved, but sure, just pay shipping and you can have them.
