TOM PIPER Please checkin.
I'm looking for Tom Piper as he has had his oil pan off and said raising the engine made it easier to install. How did you raise the engine? Just remove the motor mount nuts and jack at the tranny? (LT-1 92) Any clearance problems? HELP HELP.

Be carful you don't raise the engine any further than needed; if you go to far, you can crack your tunnel.

Thanks for the come back, Tom. I took the two nuts off and jacked it up just the length of the stud so it is still in the hole, make sence? Now, I'm waiting for the RTV to set before I slide the pan in. This will all be in the Tech Tip article I'm writing as I go. What an education, but a good one for I plan on keeping this one for a while. JAX is not too far, I've got a cold one for you if you head up this way.
