My charcoal can is all messed up, that cap that goes on the top where it goes to the PCV was smashed when I got the car, so all the lines are plugged up. Im afraid the purge solenoid will make the car run rich this way, but it beats a vacuum leak. Will there be any problem if I just leave all the lines plugged up? Or should I get a new can and do it the right way
Re: Charcoal can- keep it or toss it?? (LaVidaLoca)
yeah, i guess i should do it right and find some kind of replacement charcoal can for it.. there's enough rigged and half assed stuff on that car already idont need to add more

"CarAteMyMoney",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Now that's funny!!!!!!!!!!!
Greatest name I've seen to date, without a doubt.
:iagree: :iagree: :D :D
one comforting thing about having all that evapo stuff hooked up as stock is about the time your laying under the gas tank gas welding on you exhaust system you dont have to keep looking around with that worried look wondering if one of them unhooked lines is a direct path to the fuel tank.
(wew,mouthful there)
I removed my charcoal can and Evap, EGR emissions. I HATE Cluter in my engine bay. I think the cleaner (less crap) there is, the better off you are. Only thing is now that I took off the Charcoal can, I extended the metal hard line to VENT the gas tank. This can be tricky. and Dangerous. Watch what you do.
