The 427 and ZF 6-speed are installed. Aside from just bolting-up and wiring-up things, I’ve got to sort-out custom fuel lines, custom clutch line, custom water neck, and wiring up the new distributor and external coil. ETA is 2 or 3 weeks out. :steering:
DD, check your oil pan kick out if you have one. To get mine off I have to remove the engine mounts and lift the engine @ 1-2 inches. I trimmed my motor mount bolt length so that the nut faces the back of the engine and the bolt can be pulled out from the front,,, otherwise the bolt will hit the header if you try to pull the bolt towards the rear! Then you will have to loosen the headers t oget teh bolt out.
I hope this does not matter on your setup but if it does,, do it now cause later will be a PITA, I figuried this out on pull #2!
And BTW AWESOME! :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :smash:
CFI-EFI - valve covers done by "Unique Accessories". They do custom valve cover engraving. I am real pleased with their work.
Vette9d1 - it's a small-block - basically a stroked 400; 4.00" stroke, 4.125" bore
Magik Draggin - you are correct sir. My plates will read "CUBES"
ROME - It's the stealthram. I'm using a custom plenum that will clear the hood.
Thanks for the  My next post on this should be when it's running and hopefully that post contains a lot of explitives because I'm so stoked over how it runs. :D
