maf diagnostics
does anyone know a better way to test a maf on a 94 lt1. my mitchell program gives me the test if it has failed. i dont believe it has failed i think it is reading less than it should. it has taken a couple backfires frombeing lean when i first put the motor in. just looking at all the pcm files for cars running the about the same set up as me, i seem to have to boost up my maf tables. so it leads me to believe there is a problem...thank you for any input to this situation.

If it runs great when it's cold-first started up and then begins to lean misfire after running for awhile.....then it's on the way out.....
If it doesn't change from cold to warm, then try changing the inj. constant first for global changes, then fine tune the maf tables.

i have tried setting the injector constant where it should be with my injectors and fuel pressure. but my maf tables are about double what most people with the same set up are running. is there a resistance test or some way to test the maf? i'll prob buy another one to test with. if mine is good i will have a spare. i need to find a way to test it.

if i use the same maf tables from someone elses tune . my car runs severly lean. most of the time will not start cold or hot. i have to really mess with the injector constant to get it to run unless i boost the maf tables to about twice the factory settings.
