Signal source for Mez Pump Relay
I'm still having a problem deciding where to get a good source of power for the signal to the relay which is running my newly installed Meziere water pump. I want to use the "run on, bulb test and crank" circuit, but most of it is in the instrument panel. There are two sources I've been looking at that are in the engine compartment, 1. the coil and 2. the injectors (pink/black wire). Any inputs? Thanks. :cheers:

I grabbed my relay switched power from one of the relays on the fan shroud and ran the power itself to the battery.

I don't think it matters which relay you use. I used the one closest to the engine.
The power-on/hot wire you are looking for is the small pink one. And yes the pump runs anytime the key is on.

Thanks STL, I'll give it a try. BTW, how does the ECM control the fans? I only see four wires going into the fan relays. I assumed that the signal wire came from the ECM. You know what I'm trying to say?

Take a look at my other post on this subject. I figured it out and now it is easy. I'm glad I had book two of the Helms Manual.
