Throttle Body Flow Booster?
I'm new to corvettes and just purchased my first one ... a 96 coupe with an LT1. I've seen numerous ads for Mid America's Throttle Body Flow Booster. Is this thing any good?

No, dont trust the advertised gains from ANYTHING listed in these catalogs.
That particular one is just as useless as the airfoil. DONT waste your money.

gains are usually multiplied by 3-4 times and in some occasions there are none. i think the general concensus is that this is one that produces none. save your $40 for gas.

There is no "gimmick" mod you can buy i.e. air foil, spark plug, plug wires, air lid, MAF mod that will really increase the HP of your engine.
Just make sure the basics (plug wires, plugs, fuel/air filters) are taken care of and your Vette will run as well as it possibly can.

And as far as MAF mod, if you mod it to make the computer lean the mix it normally increases HP.
