Any Ideas?
My vette is a 91- 5.7 6 speed, one day its running, next day no spark to the plugs, cranks over, getting juice to the dist. replaced coil, cap, rotor, ign. module, computer (same chip) wires, plugs the mechanic is scratching his head and draining my bank account, NO CODES are coming up, wires to & from dist.-computer check out..any ideas i can throw at GOMER next time i see him? :crazy: :crazy:

OK, here's a WAG. Is the rotor turning? About a hundred years ago I had a GTO with the same problem. I did the same things. Finally, I noticed that the rotor wasn't turning. The curl pin on the distributor drive gear sheared.
I don't know if any of the above is pertenent to your situation. Mine was just one of those weird things that's never supposed to happen.

yea the coil is connected, the motor turns over, someone suggested a GM ignition module instead of the one i got from advance auto parts where you must have the IQ of a rock to work there.

Is that it???? with all the experiance and C4 brain power out there i get 2 responses??? I have almost $700 invested in this problem, Im at the mercy of the machanic (who's eyes lit up $$ signs when my vette was brought to him) HELLLLLP...... :confused:
