I have a Hurst roll control (line lock) I'm trying to install into my 1985 C4. It appears that this line lock has 1 input and 3 outputs. My 85 Vette has three separate lines out of the brake cylinder, a separate one for each front brakes and one to both rear brakes. Short of buying an additional line lock (that would seem kind of mouse to me), is there a safe way of connecting this up? Would it be as safe and effective to "T" the line? Are there other line locks that have dual i/p and o/p? How did other 85 owners do theirs?
I don't want to reduce the effectiveness of the brakes as I put the ZR1 13" on to improve them.
I bought a rebuilt 86 master cyclinder on ebay which only has one front brake output. I connected the two front brake lines to the Hurst so no tee's were needed. I also put in the DRM bias spring.
