Hi everyone i have just purchased my first corvette a 1986C4 my question is that the ac/heater digital control is dead no display at all, i checked the fuse and its ok. :) Thanks for any help
p.s. I did a search but couldn.t find the same question :nonod:
Check both the 10 amp gauges fuse and the 15 amp ctsy/clk fuse with an ohmeter and look at the fuse block clips to determine that they are not corroded and will make good connection to the fuse blades. Next, remove the control from the dash and unplug the cable connectors from the back and replug them back in and try using the controls. If it is still dead, you will need either repair or replacement of the control.
John,
In the 92/93 there is an auxiliary fuse block under the passenger side knee bolster. It is suspended in the wiring. Don't know about the 86 but look for another fuse block.... this very well could contain a blown fuse ~ i.e. your problem.
