Power Antenna
It seems as if the 2 inch sleeve is rusted to the cylindrical wall of the power antenna. Any ideas on how to remove the little sleeve? I have tried to tap it to loosen it but to no avail.

are you talking about the big nut that tightens it to the upper piece on the body?
It's all plastic. The big nut is chrome dipped. Dirt gets in there and makes it hard to remove. Just unscrew. Mine was easy to get to because I have glasspak mufflers.
after rereading your post it sounds like you already have it out. I'd need pics to see what you're talking about. I don't remember it to well. I rebuilt mine and put it back in about 2 months ago.
