Weird problem when I open my door...

Weird problem when I open my door...
On my '95 Coupe, it doesn't shut off the radio any more, and the hatch button won't work... All other door features work(windows, mirrors, locks). What could this be, before I go barking up the wrong tree?? Both features were working last week.

I have the same problem, it is the door switch located half way up the door near the latch end. My switch worked intermittently for awhile and I could push in and/or pull out the thing and the radio would shut off, but even that isn't working now. I guess I'll have to spend the $5.00 or whatever they might charge for the little switch from a dealer. I rember reading somwhere on the forum that you can adjust them sometimes and get them working again. You might try that first with yours, I think mine is too far gone.

The hatch switch won't operate if it thinks the doors are closed. :chevy
