As you can see from the links above, you must be a master fabricator willing to blow a summer with the T56 retrofit. There are basket cases and owners of C4's with T56's sitting on their garage floor all over the place. In hundreds of threads on this topic over 4 years I've only seen two successful conversions. Both involved huge pro shops with $5k milling machines and other envious tools. Nobody sells a kit.
My advice is to buy a plug and play ZF conversion.
About a month ago there was a thread started by an engineering student interested in offering a kit for just such a conversion. It seemed as though he had things pretty well worked out. At the time, everyone got in a huff and seemed more concerned that this kid was trying to advertise for free than listening to the really neat thing he was trying to achieve. Maybe he'll see this thread and respond.
