Re: Alignment specs (myscx)
Anyone use the Vette Brake specs for advanced street, and what are the best specs (setup)?
Front
Camber: -1.1*
Caster: 6*
Toe: 0*
Rear
Camber: -0.7*
Toe: .02* toe-in/side
These settings give a neutral feel with the 315/35 rear tires. I have stock sway bars (26/26), stock FE1 (soft) springs, '90 Z51 Bilstein shocks. This is more aggressive than the VB settings but I think the car has fine street manners and handles a bit better as well.

"the best specs" are subjective. Some like their car loose, some like it tight, some like it neutral. Specifics of the car will matter too...tires & tire sizes, rollbar sizes, shocks, spring rates, etc. What do you intend to use the car for....street, track, auto-x, combination? Does tire wear matter? As you can see, a very difficult question to answer. I'm running the following:
Front

Street only, all stock, minimal tire wear :D

Re: Alignment specs (myscx)
Currently I am using the following numbers mostly for high speed cornering and high speed runs through the local mountan and coastal roads. A little darty around town but no tire wear issues so far.
Front camber -1.25deg
caster 4.75deg
toe 0" to +1/32
Rear camber -1.0deg
toe +1/16 to+1/8
running 28 psi I can run my local mountain road s turns at 70 with a posed 25, I do get front end push at just over 70. high speed stability feels pretty solid havent ran it over 140 since changing to this but up to that point no problems.

Re: Alignment specs (myscx)
mines set to the advanced street specs right now.
i have the fe1 suspension (soft) plus my shocks need replaced.
it handles excellent on smooth roads.
rough broken roads its a handful.
it will follow every crack in the road and even the crown of the road will be felt.
one thing i really like is how neutral it feels while pulling a hard curve.it doesnt fight you at all and its effortless to put the car anywhere in the lane (dodging a pebble for example)
when i get my tires in (or when tirerack gets some kumho 285/40/17's in stock i should say),im going to have em toe it in a 16th on the front.
i have a few bad roads i use.
tire wear should be optimum at 0 deg btw.

Re: Alignment specs (mitymek)
I'm using the advanced specs, except went to -0.5 for camber in the front. Feels really good, actually just got back from an AutoX today testing it out. Seems a little more jarring on rough roads, but then I try to avoid such roads in the first place.

Re: Alignment specs (myscx)
I've been using the VBP Advanced Street specs for about a year...love it!
Handles like it's on rails. No problems with tracking, wandering, etc. From what I can see, it has had no adverse effects on my tire wear. Go for it!

Re: Alignment specs (myscx)
I get 15K+ out of a set of street Kumhos and mine handles better than most on and off the track (it's lowered 1" front & rear):
Front: -1.7 camber
4.3 caster
1/8" toe OUT (increase to 1/4" or more on AX courses)
Rear: -2.0 camber
1/4" toe IN
