Will a 335/35-17 Tire on the GS offset 17x11 Wheel fit without rubbing?
Or do you neet the ZR-1 offset wheels?
Thanks. Trying to get just a little more rear rubber.
I've got the GS offset wheels which don't stick out as much as the ZR-1 offset. Will the 335's clear the inner fender well? I'm not worried about the outside. The GS flares cover the tires nicely.
I posted some pics recently of where my GS 335's rubbed on the inside. Should still be out there somewhere. You can make it work, required some grinding & trimming of the plastic inner fender. Mine also rubbed the trailing arm bracket very lightly. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=589517

Re: 335 Tire on GS Wheels (tkrussell)
If you push them in the corners the 315 on my GS cut into the fender liners. 335 is to big for 11" rim to get good performance. I did see a 335 on stock C5 wheels  He wondered why it didn't hold in the corners
John,
now you have me worried about doing the 315 kumho's in the rear for driving schools. currently I'm running 275 victor racers all around on my 96. But after these tires are used up, I was buying some GS rims and 315's for the rear.
now you have me 2nd guessing the setup I have seen on quite a few cars.
also I lowered the rear about 1/4" just to level the car. hmmmmmm......
