Taber Corvette parts?
Anyone dealt with them? Looks like Ill have to replace the half shafts on my '91 and they have by far the best prices on used ones at $75 each. Any info good or bad?
I have dealt with taber's in the past. I had a good experience with them. I bought a air bag from them. They could not shipped the air bag, It is considered hazardous. I had to drive 4 hours to get there, They told me on the phone it was in nice shape. When I got there, I was impressed it is not your typical junk yard. it was neat , clean and the people were very nice.
When I looked at the air bag, it was in very nice shape. I would deal with them again.
Ron
I paid slightly more on some parts from them because I thought it was worth the difference to deal with them. Another supplier was slightly cheaper, but they were not helpful. Tabers has always been helpful, patient , and nice. They are my first source now.
I have dealt with Tabers a few times and have been very happy with their prices and service. I shop them when at the Corvette expo in Knoxville. They usually have all the little odds and ends that I need. I will continue to use them! :chevy
I recently got a RH inner door panel from Taber. While not absolutely cherry, with a little elbow grease it came out almost perfect [well, as close as anything can be to 'Perfect' for Corvette folks]. The price was the best I could find on the Web. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful.
Another vote for Taber...I had nothing but great experiences with them.Good parts, good service and great prices.I even went there and hand picked out a gas tank I needed.Nothing but good to say about them. They will try their best to make you satisfied, thats all I can say.
Cant go wrong with taber.
