4+3 filter kit Q
Does anyone have a part number for the filter and gasket for the OD part of the 4+3 ? I know I can get one at ecklers but Im looking to buy it at Autozone or Discount/Advance auto. They think Im crazy when I say manual with overdrive!!

You won't be able to get one at autozone or any other chain place. You can actually reuse yours if you wash it off with something like gas first if you want to. Ditch the gasket and use sensor safe RTV around the edges of the pan instead. The gaskets tend to leak.

I don't like to repeat hearsay, so this is more of a question than a statement, I'd heard that the OD filter is actually the same part as used on one model of F**D automatic trans. Anyone else ever hear this.
