Transmission not shifting
I had the automatic transmission (700r4) in my 85 vette rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago by Charlie's transmission in Durham, NC. Now, the transmission frequently will not shift out of 1st gear. This is the second time this has happened. The first time, I took it back and they re-did the transmission. It did OK for a while. Now, it is messing up again. What do you guys think should be my next move? I am convinced that Charlie's transmission (on Roxboro Rd.) is not the place to get good service. However, I do have a 1-year warranty. Shouls I demand some of my money back? Or, just go somewhere else and get it fixed right.

Bring it back and keep bringing it back. Or.....Pay someone else to do the job. Also you may want to tell charlie that if he dosent get it right you will take it to arbitration to get your money back. If you have that in your state. :skep:
