Default fresbie removal

I see the bolts holding this thing on. Do they also hold on the pulley on the water pump as well? Is it just as simple as removing the bolts and the thing falls off? Please advise.

Yes, but on my car there were nuts on studs that screwed into the
w/p flange and retained the pulley as well as the frisbee.

After removing the frisbee, the shoulders on the studs do not permit
the nuts to be tightened sufficiently to retain the pulley. So remove
the studs (thread two nuts on and lock them) and replace these with
4 - 5/16 x 3/4 grade 5 (or better) FINE THREAD bolts for an '89 L98.

Use lockwashers and washers. Ensure you have adequate thread
engagement and prevent running the tips of the bolts into the nose of the
water pump.
