Throttle issues...
I have an 86 that had 2 injectors stick wide open. Had all the injectors replaced (w/ 30's) as well as the o2 sensor and IAC valve at the same time. After I got the car back from the shop the car was idling between 400 & 900 rpm's, back and forth, as well as anything over 1/2 throttle the car would not accelerate very well. It would kinda of hesitate and just not run like it did. I took it back to them and they worked on it and seemed to take care of the idling problem. New plugs, new plug wires, new TPS, new cap and rotor, new water pump, new ECM, new fuel pump, fuel regulator diaphram and filter, new K&N, and probably a couple of other things I can't think of.
The throttle problem is better, however it still doesn't accelerate like it should at about 3/4 throttle to WOT. It idles a little better too, but occassionally does the back and forth thing every now and again. I was wondering if I have a clogged cat. or maybe a plugged muffler. I do need to replace the mufflers, but should they cause this?
