Re: What viscosities do you use?? (Strick)
 I have been running AMZOIL RACING GOLD 20w/50 for past 5 years
Oil pressure never drops below 50 at idle when very hot
Running around the mountains, as I like to do, oil temp goes through a 40 degree temp swing, that's why I like this oil!
Plus, seeing low oil pressures scares the h%^l out of me
It's pricey, around $ 8 per quart

Re: What viscosities do you use?? (Alex D)
20- 50 castrol. always had good luck.
1991 gmc pu before I sold it 238,000 miles, never been apart.
1988 Corvette, 123,000 miles still going strong.
I had a Grand National, used mobile 1, no problems.
I think that doing a regular maintenance is the key. I change approx every 2500 miles. Blood of the engine. :chevy

Cool months....10w/40w Valvoline Max Life...
Warm/Hot months....20w/50w Valvoline Max Life....Southern CA.
My '84 has just over 87k miles on it......runs great...and with the Max Life the small oil leaks have gone away.....go figure...

Hello!!
I am running straight 30 Oil (Penzoil) , Ít has allways worked in our TAD Dragster. It takes out a little noice from my RR so the PITA, KS is not drawing me back. :chevy
