Has anyone had a problem with servo or steering leakage?
I have a dripping from between the front weels on my -92 LT-1 but I cant pin piont from where it comes .It is not much but its just anoing and the only fluid that seems to be a little low is the servo fluid.Any ideas?
I'm in the middle of replacing the power rack. I had a very small weep from the pinion valve seal (where steering colum enters power rack). I added some sealer/ conditioner and turned the weep into a full on drip drip drip !!
Take a close look there. You might have to remove the two piece plastic cover to get a good look. If you degrease the area you will have a better chance of pinpointing the leak. Good Luck !!
Clean it up as best as you can to determine where the leak is. Most of the steering components that leak are on the drivers side, but it could be leaking from the supply and return lines to the reservour on the passenger side.
