Default Valve springs

I received larger ( really big difference from stock ) valve springs with LPE 219 cam.
I remember from one post that somebody said that these springs will require
machining of heads.
I have tried and outside diameter will fit ( close but fit ) stock valve spring seats.

Do I still require machining of heads ( to go deeper with seats ) or is machining only
required to fit outside diameter?
