I'm no expert, but I'm sure that ski_down_it or one of the other chip burners will read this and respond.
I would just wait until you get your injectors before swapping the chip. The injector pulse width is shorter for the 24# injector than it would be for the 22# injector which would make your car run leaner, in addition to messing up the readings on your dash for MPG/instant.
Others may disagree but you should be okay with a 24lb chip with 22lb injectors. They are close enough together that the computer will be able to adjust for them. Of course your BLM's (computer talk) will be off and the car will constantly think it's running lean but within the computers adjustable range.
If you have a adjustable fuel pressure regulator you could raise the fuel pressure until the 24lb injectors arrive as an option.
Which 24# injectors? Ford's 24# run like 26 or 27. What year car? It'll probably run, but I wouldn't go pushing too hard because it'll theoretically run lean.

My bad, I misread the original post.......thought you were going with 24# on a 22# tuned chip. :bb
As stated above...DO NOT go WOT. The ECM will conpensate some based on the overly lean state you will be in during part throttle, but no-one knows exactly how much it compensates. I have seen some equations, but nothing that has been validated with actual testing.
My recommondation would be to keep the 22# injectors in the car till you get the necessary/proper components to use with the tune.
