Hey man,

I just set mine here's a pick. I out lined the direct cut with red. The rear portion of the panel overlaps the metal portion of the tunnel. The front cut is along the fold, the top and bottom cuts where chosen for integrity and points of alignment. I used the rear rivot and the top raised portion for alignment points. I have one layer of fiberglass on the bottom and two layers of fiberglass on the top. The tunnel is ugly but solid and perfectly aligned. From what I've read the yellow and purple wires on the auto gear selector are wires for the clutch "starter cutout" switch. The middle two wires are for the reverse lights. Any extra info you might have would be appreciated. Oh, my car is a '96, I dont know what the difference will be for a '86.
