Default Windshield wiper motor

I changed the wiper blades on my '95 vette and at times they kind of stutter at times instead of swiping against the glass smoothly. Also, at times they jump out of place, like when you bend the blade away from the glass to clean underneath them, and then they go back into place when I shut them off.
I was told I need to replace the wiper motor which the dealer would charge $320 for the parts and labor.
Is the problem being caused by the motor and does this sound like a reasonable price?

... ...NO!...

Do it yourself!

If it takes you more than 10 minutes to pull the motor, then you must be mechanically challenged! Remove the leaf screens, then it's 3 bolts and one nut, plus an electrical connector.

I've never priced a w/w motor, but I seriously doubt that Autozone or NAPA would charge much more than $50...

Mine did the same thing...as well as stutter in intermittant mode.

I fixed it for free in about 20 minutes time.
