security problem
If left overnight, the battery runs down. My only fix has been to pull the 15 amp ctsy fuse at the top of the fuse panel. But then the radio and interior lights, etc don't work. I assume there is some problem with the anti-theft system. Is there a way to diagnose and fix it or unhook the whole anti-theft system so that the accessories will work?
First pull out on the switches then push them in while observing the security light. You should be able to find the bad switch that way.
Another common problem area is the door lock switch, there are switches on the actual key tumbler unit that go bad.
I think you can take off the door panel & either disconnect the ground wire or ground it I forget which way it is.
If the problem is interrmitant Id bet on the lock switch as every time you unlock the car door your moveing that switch. If it happens all the time then its probably a door switch.
If none of that helps there is a security modual right behind where the security light flashes.

In my case it was the hatch switch that was faulty.
