I wouldn't think that you could just change your rotor size. I bet you will need an entire ZR-1 brake conversion kit that would have rotors, calipers, and caliper mounting brackets in it. I don't think any of the parts are interchangable, all they share is the same mounting points on the spindle.
more than likely you calipers could use replacement if you nee to use a set from autozone it would be cheaper just ask for the hevy duty brake option that would be the 13" version you would still need brackets from chevy or ebay.I decided to do the c5 upgrade in the next few weeks instead of the g/s upgrade.I think the calipers are cheaper for the c5 and the durastop rotors from ac are vented and a exact change out upgrade for c-5 rotors.
Yep you have to buy adaptors and calipers (J55 or GS) to use 13" rotors. Just bolts right on. Our you can get one of those C5 brake conversions for more money. I paid 250 for whole kit used and was able to sell my original 12" setup on ebay for 180(got lucky) .
I too am doing a c5 brake upgrade for the front but what about below ...whats with the parking brake not being able to work this kinda sukss...anyone have a fix or a cure for this
The usage of rear C5 calipers on a C4 will also require special brackets and some fabrication to get the parking brake to work.

damnnnnnn :banghead: :banghead:
There's not much special to the C5 rear calipers over the stock C4. Why change? If it's because you're getting the Z06 red calipers, then paint your stock C4's to match. Easier and less expensive.
You can get 13.1" rotors, cross-drilled and slotted, that are 1.25" thick, different calipers (PBR same as stock, but for the thicker rotor), new brackets, pads and stainless hoses for $500 from Baer Brakes. This setup looks great and stops even better. It's called their Track setup. I recommend these highly!
I just posted this because im going to get new crossdrilled and slotted rotors and its only like 20$ to get 13" instead of 12", so i was wondering if ill needed was a new bracket to fit 13"s. so thanks for all your help
I think I read somewhere that the 13" calipers won't fit behind the stock sawblades either...good luck
The J55's will and I believe the J55 GS one will. The ones that won't are the C5 brakes. You have to have 5 spokes for those, or some aftermarket wheel that will allow them. C5 brakes won't work behind sawblades without wheel adapters.
