Dash cluster....yes another question about them.....
My dash cluster "flicker" slightly at idle, on accerlation...whenever...and it doesn't get better no matter what I do to it.....is this normal or could it be going bad?

You may have a poor connection in one of the connectors on the cluster. Unplugging them and re-plugging them back in may help. You may have an alternator that has an oscillating voltage regulator, but if you do, other lights (incandescent) will also flicker. But most likely the power supply in the cluster that supplies high voltage to the LCD's is causing the flickering. If you want it to stop, then someone will have to look into the cluster.

The cluster is fairly easy to get out...I just had to replace a buld and went ahead and replaced all of them....I took it all apart and cleaned everything up real nice and I cleaned the connectors real good...I even removed the colored plastic sheet that gives the multi colored display as to acheve a white or clear display...and it looks very cool....I am thinking of going back in now and give it a red LED readout so it will match all my new interior in black and red.. You will be able to see if anything on the boards looks out of wack when your in there...it is probably just a connector dirty.....its straight forward on removing it from the dash....I was scared to do it, but then just bit the bullet and did so.....
