Has anyone gotten their 165 ECM to work well with the 4+3 and the 1985 tachometer?
Also, I dont know if it is spark, timing adavance, fuel etc. But I have range of 2600-2900 RPM that stumbles just like clockwork, but is fine everywhere else.
The fuel pump is new, the HEI module, cap & coil are new, all sensors are new. Plug wires are 1 year old.
I am assuming that all that is left to consider are the settings in the ECM
the bin is a 1988 ABTP. we'll have to hook up the diacom and do some more runs. I think the O2 is looking ok about the only thing left we can play with is the timing and maybe some fine tuning on the acceleration enrichment. but if anyone has a good idea I'll sure try it.

Without having done too much on MAF, I can only suggest a few things.
First, grab a copy of a MAF hack over at http://www.diy-efi.org in the papers or somewhere. I believe the BUA hack is an example of one.
In Acrobat, do a search at the approximate RPM you note the problem at. Keep searching through til you get to an explanation of the tables. Every once in a while, I have lucked out with this method. There might be something going on behind the scenes that isn't listed in TunerCat...such as an increased pulse width or something.
OlRJ-Shoot me the diacom files in either GDF or DBF format and I'll see if I can see anything out of the ordinary when things calm down a bit around here.

Thanks for the input, I just got back from FLA today and might be able to coax Ol'RJ into 2-3 Diacom runs this weekend.
