i say on ebay a set of 441 heads and a freind of mine swears by them!! He said he has 2 sets all redone and wants sum big $$ for them. I asked him why so much he said they where on a 1 yr car in 1970 thats all they where maid for? SO are these heads the crap or what? can they be ported to flow some awsum numbers please put your in put HERE :thumbs: JAY

They were good heads in their time but their time has long past. They don't flow better than the current era of heads. Guys restoring an old engine and need a set of 441 castings for authentic reasons are willing to pay good money. I see no reason to put them on a C4.
They are cast iron. If you are planning to change heads, switch to aluminum heads.
The 441 heads are older (early 70's), large chamber (76cc), heavy casting heads. We use them on our Sportsman race car. Basically a stock, low compression head. They do flow resonably well and were a good head for their time. I would guess and say they're not as good as the heads on your '85.
