demisting probs
i am having probs with my demisting. when it is raining i cannot stop the windows from fogging up. my car has been converted from lhd to rhd that might be a reason. plus where does the air from outside come through the vents? they might be blocked..

What in the world are you talking about? :confused: What is lhd/rhd? :confused: The outside air comes from just below the windshield under the wipers. Hint: if your A/C is not working then your defrost is not going to work. A/C removes the mosture from the air.

Hi Aussie 84 Vette, good to see another RHD car. The RHD convertion can cause a heap of trouble, do you know who did yours, it should be on the convertion plate ?
Sometimes the ducting behind the dash is not connected properly, or has come loose. Take off the top that covers the dashboard, it’s held in with just a few screws – two in the centre airvent and some underneath – very easy. Then you can see the ducting.
If your aircon is not working then there are several things to check – refridgerant –controls – compressor – evaporator.
You’ll get plenty of help here once you post the problem.

yeah my a/c does not work that must be the problem thanks for that.....
and im in australia so it was converted to right hand drive.. :thumbs:

yeah sweet ill take it off and have a look. my car was converted by maracoonda i think they no longer operate now.. gee no wonder :skep: thanks for the help.
