TV Cable adjustment
Does anyone know the most accurate method in adjusting the throttle Valve cable on an '85 C4 mated to (Australian specs) Turbo-Hydro 700?
The 'HAYNES' method seems to be questionable in my case, as the gearchange does not really 'snap' like I'm told it should.

On my 85 I just push the button and pull the cable taught with a pair of needle nose pliers then get behind the wheel and push the accelerator all the way to the floor...instant correct adjustment. :seeya

I think you may have it as my throttle travel isn't full due to pedal needing an extra mm or two...hence; the spindle WOULDN'T reflect a true adjustment!
