Default roller rocker info

my soo cool mom just asked me what i want for x mas! she finally realized i'd rather get one gift that i like than a bunch of crap that is useless. i'm so happy too. anyhow i told her that i want some roller rockers for my car. she said cool and how much. i told her about $300. so what i need from you guys is some help, and i know this has been beaten to death. i have the stock lt1 in my 95 6 speed vette. i want the 1.6 ratio rockers, i think theire the ones off the the lt4. i have 2 questions. does my engine need self aliging or the other ones in the stock condition my motor is in? i want them to bolt on. i know im gonna have to work on the valve covers. no prob there. the other question is about the valve springs. should i replace them or put new ones in? i autocross the car about once a month and other than that its a daily driver that gets wound out about once a day. so help me on my roller rocker selection and spring issues please:

self aligning or non self aligning?

new valve springs or stock ones are fine? (if new, what kind? LT4?)

thanks guys. i hope to have this thing screaming in the near future! :steering:

The LT1 uses self aligning rockers, and to be 100% safe you need to change valve springs. LT4 springs will do just fine, and they are cheap.
