Default Service ASR

I just did a "complete" tuneup on my 93' LT1. In the process I loosend the ASR system that sits behind the AC compressor so I can change the spark plugs. Ever since then, however, the Service ASR light comes on and the engine revs eratically (especially in the morning). The only thing I can see is that the lower portion of the ASR system (the part that has 2 large hoses connected to it) has 2 vacumn fittings but only 1 has a vacumn line that runs to the intake manifold. The other fitting is empty. I looked everywhere around that area but didn't find any loose vacumn lines. Is there suppose to be a vacumn line connected to it? If so where does it come from. Maybe I'll have better luck finding it if I know where it comes from.

Thank you
Armando

There is a vacuum line near that stuff but I'm not sure if it's related to that or if it's part of the EGR system.

It would be a small vacuum line, kinda towards the front of the car, maybe a half inch below the ASR box. It would be fairly easy to see if it's still there, not so easy to see if it isn't.

It's also a long shot but there is an adjustment proceedure for all the throttle cables and such, just in case you didn't get it bolted back down exaclty where it was. I would tend to think vacuum though with the erratic revs you mentioned.
