John, if this (red Vette) pic is your bar, then mine is very similar from what I can see. I'm still able to place the roof on the bar and close the rear. If you foam pad the bar, you should be able to fit the roof in.
Ya, thats my car, no the roof won't fit.

There is obviously serious interest in a NHRA legal, 6 point, weld-in roll bar kit for C4 vettes! Anyone up to the challenge and want to reap the rewards?
Make mine 6 pt with swing out side bars in chrome moly, with a good sized cross bar behind the seats for harness attachment.
