Default Quick Question on ALDL..help, please

Does the ECM on an 86 provide 160 baud and 8192 baud serial data output, or just 160?

For reference the ALDL pins looking at connector under dash are labeled:

F E D C B A - Top row left to right
G H J K L M - bottom row left to right

E is supposed to be 160 serial data output, and M is supposed to be 8192 serial output. I don't have a wire or connector at M. Is this stock? A previous owner has left some wiring in question.

I'm trying to get an ALDL to serial cable to work. Datamaster s/w sees the ALDL put not the ECM.

TIA

The only connectors on your aldl should be :

FEDCBA
G-------

Your 86 also should be 8192buad, as ot should be a '165 ecm, only '85 corvettes with the '870 ecm had the 160 baud slow-poke ecm.
