1988 Corvette.
I just replaced my intake gasket (5 hours to remove all the parts)
When I reassembled, I forgot where some of the vaccuum hoses were connected and thus now the engine will not run. When I start the engine, it runs for about 2 seconds and then stops. When the engine stops, I hear a blast of air leaking from the front passenger side of the engine somewhere.
Could someone describe where the vaccumm hoses connect on the engine-- PLEASE ???
Tks

OK, Thanks for all the answers each of you have provided. I have been around and around the engine, looking at each part trying to match according the the information provided. All seems to be conected correctly.
I seem to be missing the smaller hose that connects from the power brake booster to the front of the engine - somewhere. There is a large hose that connects from the power brake booster to the plenum already.
Anyone have pictures of the actual engine- if not PLEASE assist if possible.
Thanks again

On my '88 booster, there is only one hose attached to the check valve on the booster and runs to the back of the plenum.
I think you may be talking about the cruise-control vacuum line. There is a T right about in the middle of the drivers side fender where the vacuum line from the ball by the headlights splits. On end on the T goes to the engine, the other goes to the cruise control diaphragm. The line that T's off to the engine is attached to a block underneath the throttle body.
