Now that I've added headers, hi-flow cat and flowmasters, will some intake work take me to the next step? I bought a ported and polished plenum and was thinking of SLP runners to open up the intake. Will the runners be worth the $$$ if I don't touch the intake base?
I'm afraid I'll be disapointed with the possible intake gains after the gains I've "felt" with the addition of headers and gears. Thanks for the input. Any other suggestions? (I don't really want to spend the $$$ for a superam right now), new baby at home.
I think you'll get a modest gain if you do the ported plenum, larger runners AND an aftermarket base. If you do the plenum and runners without the base I don't think you'll see a gain.
