Why do alignment after doing front spring?

Why do alignment after doing front spring?
Everything I read says to re-align after doing the front spring. I am curious as to what could change when all I did was remove the shocks, disconnect the lowerball joint and remove the sway bar. It seems like these items are fixed and wouldn't influence the toe, caster or camber...

I just changed front & rear springs felt good in test drive. But set it up for a
alignment and glad I did RF was off as was the LR. Feels even better now and
yes much cheaper than tires (protenza's) :yesnod:
