I got the haynes manual out and it shows a flat one with three blots that attached to the flywheel bolts. I wish my machanic could fit me in he can do the job for a bought $150.00

There have been instructions posted on modifying a generic puller to work in the tight spaces. I've been able to do it with an unmodified puller, but disconnected the PS lines from the rack and pulled the fan assembly.

have u any pictures of this unmodified harmonic balancer puller? maybe a part #? i have this english levy that needs a pull :lolg:

I used a generic crow-foot type puller.
I bought two lengths of fine thread bolts from the hardware store, because of the tight fit, the bolts with the kit were too long. I had to use one set of bolts to pull it partway off, and the shorter set to get it the rest of the way off.
The puller fits where the power steering line curves up above the crossmember. MAKE SURE you put some type of protective sleeve on the puller's screw shaft so that it doesn't gash the power steering line when you turn it.
Pulling it was pretty easy.. putting it back on was a Royal pain in the as* :cuss
And double check the timing mark on the balancer. It should be ~10 degrees away from the keyway. If it's not to spec, you'll have a hell of a time getting your timing set.
