1200 psi before purge on an NX heater. I threw my NOS heater in the garage....maybe I'll use it this winter to keep my dog's water from freezing.....but I'm not sure it will even work for that. The most it would do on a full bottle was 900 psi.

I have the one from Dynotune.org. It is bottle pressure controlled much like the NX one and is much cheaper. Havent tested it since it's been pretty hot here in Texas in the summer.

My isn't on a pressure controlled system. I just wired the pad to a switch. The pad will only set you back $115. May not be the best system but it works for me and the bottle is dedicated only to track use.

I've got the Dynotune setup and have used it several times. It's quite good.
It's a big pad, comes with a relay and a (necessary) 20amp fuse.

Here's a pic...

Yup. I don't have the bottles cross connected (only use one at a time). Plus there would be a hell of an amperage draw if you ran two bottle heaters at once. The alternator is taxed enough on these Vettes as it is.

I have the NOS bottle heater and it stops the bottle right at 900 psi. According to my reading on the subject 900 psi is optimum. Sumthin' else I should know?

900 is minimum, 950-1000 is optimal. I run the NX heater as well.

From my understanding the NX transducer will regulate the pressure to between 950 and 1050. When I use the heater and allow it time to heat the bottle fully, it will stick close to 975-1000psi as I recall. I do not use the heater much so I may be a little off. I generally only need it in the colder months anyway or when the bottle starts getting low.

Chris I'm pretty sure you got it right. It heats up until it sees 1050 and then turns off until 950 then on till 1050 over and over.
