I asked about this a week or so ago. I asked about if I should get rid of the K&N filter with a cut lid to replace it with the SLP "Claw". The ones that had tried both said to save the money. Most had better experiences with the cut lid than the claw. Although the claw looks nice, I am going to put money into other areas of my Vette. Hope this helps you out. :cheers:

was that your post ? I thought I read something on this. but I couldn't re-locate. I think I will go with the open lid set-up. saving money is good. working on 4.10s

Save your money...... I have one on a LT4 and it came off my old LT1. I don't think that it really does anymore than a cut lid and the cut lid is a bunch cheaper. Put the 250.00 plus dollars toward gears it is a better mod.

I've got one on my Z (came with the car). I have no idea if it helps at all, but it certainly enhances the "wow" factor of the engine bay. Would I go out and buy one today? No, but hell, I've got one, I'm keeping it! :D
