Did you croam the tips and what paint did you use on the body looks cool!!!!
The ones on my car are the way they came out of the box, Body painted black with stainless tips.
You could use high temperature paint, or bar-b-q grill paint to paint the ones you have, their are lots of stainless steel or chrome tips that could be put on with out to much trouble.
My headers are TPIS cearmic coated long tubes, I got them on a group purchase from East Coast Supercharging.
As for cams I bekieve you will be OK. Transmission type, rear end gear, toqure curve / power band has more to do with sound and resonance.
My trans is an automatic, gear is 259 (I think)
