Weird idle problem
I had the the base plenium and runners off awhile back and cleaned it all up replaced the gaskets etc etc, I did not move or mess with the tps, when Im driving it seems to get stuck and wants to idle around 1000 to 1100 rpm when stopped at a light or whatever if I tap the gas pedel it goes back down to around 600 or 700 rpm where it normally did before it will stay untill I take off and then I have to tap the pedal to get it back down to normal idle. I took the trottle body off last weekend and checked it out it looked alright put it back on and the same problem any ideas??? :cuss

Sounds like somethig is in a "bind" and you are able to correct this with a tap on the accelerator. Look at your throttle cables and make sure they are located correctly and operate in a smooth manner! Good luck!

Rich, there's definately something binding in there. I'd shoot some liquid silicone on the TB shaft, the linkage, and the cable. :cheers:
