Default HAL QA1 COIL OVERS

Does anybody have any feedback or experience with these. I am ordering the Rippie xtra grip and wanted to look at these first. With my car being lowered 3.5". I am thinking that maybe the HALS have a shorter shock body which will aleviate all of the suspension travel problems compared to the Bilsteins, this is per Rippie, Exotic Muscle and one other shop. The bilsteins have a long shock body which causes the problems on very low cars. I will have the bumpstops in the rear altered to get back the suspension travel. On my c5 the rear tires were tucked and travel wasnt a problem, and the car rode dam near like stock, no bounce at all.. The c4 rear suspension is obviouslt different. The measurements from the ground to the top of the fender will be 25" in front and 25.25" in the rear. Don't ask me why I have my cars this low, I just do. I'm looking for anyones comments THAT HAS EXPERIENCE with applications like this. If it can be done that easy on a c5 I know I can figure out how to do it on my 96.

Thanks for the help. :flag :chevy

Sorry,

I just noticed I posted this in forced induction and not tech. Can anybody tell me how to move it over there.

Thanks
