I was the guy who originally had a shop throw my MSD box on, and they put it in that akward spot on top of the intake manifold that I posted about. Well, I went out and bought some wires and with a little time remounted it in the back. I ran wires through the firewall behind the battery (as suggested on here) and under the side carpet all the way back behind the driver seat, under the plastic covers back there and into the storage compartment. I cut a square out of the side of the box and dropped the MSD in (didn't have to mount it, it won't move). Rewired it and it works great, def. a difference in temperature around and on the box. Just for fun I installed a fan in the box (just used the fan my friend bought for his graphics card  ) plugged it in, so now anytime the car is in the "on" position or running, it will spin back there. If you turn off everything in the car and listen to it, you can barely hear it spinning in the box. I think I'm going to put the heat sinks (sp?) on the box as well. The fan is just mounted to a wall across from the MSD. I'll post some pictures if anyone's interested, just gotta find a friend with a digital camera.
Nope, not a single issue after 2 days of driving with it. The thing still gets hot, but I can most def. feel a difference in temperature. I'm happy with it.
