Couple of ideas

Front spoiler.

It also looks exactly like the bolts that hold on the wheel wells(there are a bunch of them), or body panels.

Radiator support? Since it doesn't have a blind (flat) end, then I believe it is one that requires one of those slider type of retainers. Check around the front bumper areas.
Yes, I think this is where it goes. SB Nova also pointed this out. If you raise the hood and look just in front of the radiator on either side, about where the frame rail is, that's where a long bolt like that is located. I know because when I took my front bumper cover off I removed these bolts (not sure if I even needed to) and on the first one I was saying "how long can this friggin' bolt be?" :smash:

Ok, just got the car off the stands.

I couldn't find one bolt on the car that matched the length of the one I found. There were several for the front clip that had the same head size, and thread shape(threaded to the point) but they were all a good 10mm shorter. Nothing is out of place in the rear, all the brackets have the required bolts.

Guess it didn't come off my car, but it's going in the box 'o stuff anyway :D

Thanks for all your suggestions. At least now if something falls off, I'll know where to look for a match for this bolt. :leaving:

When I used to work on tractors and trucks, we would mess with the new guy by tossing a spare 9/16 or 1/2 half inch bolt into his disassembeled parts. It would be fun for a couple hours or so. Never thought of dropping something onto a "friends" driveway. I kinda like that idea. I'm not only a participant, I'm a victum too :D
